On the left side of the screen is a drawing and illustration forum link.

We're photographers here. That means we cant draw to save our lives, so we take photos instead.

Actually, Ryan, I bet that lots of photographers draw, too. I do, in fact, I trained as an artist years before I took up photography.

Anyway, if you look in the ads in "Dog Fancy" magazine, there are usually several ads for pet portrait artists. A cheaper route migh be to inquire at the local high school or college art department. There might be a talented student who would like to make a few bucks by doing a pet portrait.
