When you look for a photographer to take your picture, what is the most important aspect in the photographer you look for? Is it quality, service, price, creativity, on-location, in-studio, the ability to add photoshop effects? What do you look for in a photographer, and what kind of pictures do you expect from one? (Besides "good"... that's obvious.)

Feel free to answer as creative as you want, and bring up services that you wish more photographers offered. And if you're a photographer, feel free to jump in. We can all learn from each other. Thanks!

Im an amateur who can take good pix. Recently got this cam, which seems rather complicated, as a present. I know several will say: read the manual. Sure, but these r meant 4 people with already some knowledge....and Im not 1 of them. Also, its in a language I cant read. Have tried several settings, but either, shutter takes 2 long 2 record (cant always use a tripod), and the image appears blurred, or its 2 bright, or colors not right. This cam has A LOT of settings...could someone explain what these refer 2? Here I list them:
1. Metering (with options MATRIX - SPOT - CENTER WEIGHTED - SPOT AF AREA)
2.Lens (NORMAL - WIDE ADAPTER - TELEPHOTO)
3. Exposure options (AE LOCK - MAXIMUM BULB DURATION)
4. Focus - (AF AREA MODE: MANUAL/AUTO - AUTO FOCUS: SINGLE AF/CONTINUOUS)
5. Image sharpening (AUTO - HIGH - LOW)
6. Noise reduction (on/off?)
7. Auto Bracketing (OFF - ON - WB BRACKETING)
8. Control: MEMORIZE - FUNC. - AE-L & AF-L (What do these mean?

Thanx 4 helping, I know its a lot.

The group involves taking a photo of yourself, where the last (most recent) photo in the group must appear in the background of your photo e.g. on your pc/mac/laptop.

I remember seeing this group once, but can't find it now....please help.

Someone graffitied all over it. But I finally decided to ask what to do about it. I tried using a type of rubbing alcohol today, but that just made it darker. It's a type you put on legs after you finish waxing them (I was desperate to finally get rid of it.). Is this dark stain going to stay? Is there anything I can do about both the pen and the dark spot? Thanks in advanced! :)

I want to take nice portraits of my son with my film SLR rebel. I keep hearing people saying that they use natural light. I want to buy a plain black and plain white back drop and take photos of him on there, but I always get really yellow looking photos with bad shadows. I have photoshop elements to use for editing but no amount of editing can fix what I did wrong. Can anyone help suggest how to position my son, backdrop, what speed my camera should be at etc. to get that type of look. I have the kit lens (which I know isnt always the best) and I have a 75-300mm. What would you suggest? ANY and ALL help would be great.

I recently had a ZED card made and spent a load of money on them. Well they turned out absolutely horrible. I didnt like the pictures mainly.

Is there a website possibly, or someone I can go to where I just give them say 4 or 5 pictures I like, and have them put them on a ZED card? Would that be at all cheaper?

Thanks

Would this be dangerous? Could somone possibly steal my work? I know i can make some money off of my work and i'd like to be able to sell it, but I don't want to loose it. That would be horrible. Have any tips? I sign my work so does that protect them if i sell them?
