I am a photographer that wants to get my work in galleries and to sell to high end art collectors. I take my photos and but them on canvas then touch them up with clear acrylic.

There are actually several conferences that have galleries from around the country which meet once or twice a year. There's one in Portland next April if I recall. But you can start off there and earn some credibility. Photo magazines are always good at listing events like this as well, just be ready to dish out a few hundred bucks per event.

There's also a website called The Workbook which has a massive listing of agents. If you're innovative enough you might just snag some interest, but be ready... most agents only look for new talent periodically, so timing is everything. Be sure to keep track of anyone interested once you send out your work, and be prepared to send reminders and postcards to possible future agents every few months.

Hope that helps!
