I need an SLR film camera for a black and white photography class where we will be developing our own film in the darkroom. It is not a hobby I have yet fallen in love with the hobby yet, so I would obviously not want to pay more than around one hundred dollars for a camera, is this doable????

I have attempted to use coarse salt in the past with poor results. Are soap flakes available anymore? Any other ideas?

using the crop tool, i can define the area i want to crop out (think of it as panel b if you divided the image into 3 sections, ie, panels a, b, c), but i can't crop it OUT, i can only crop it IN. i want to crop it OUT and only preserve panels a and c, merging them into one image. (if i go to the 'select' menu, 'inverse' is grayed out.)

How do you become a Professional Photographer? I have finished learning for now, got 1 Diaploma in Photography, and someday I want to be a Professional Wedding Photographer.
I haven't done a lot of work for money yet.
My guess is you need to do a name search, then register it, and then buy a copyright license. What am I missing?
Of course if you plan on making over $30,000 a year you need tax account, and charge the costumer aswell.
Please also state if you are a proffessional photographer or not. Thanks for answering, I really don't know who else too aks!!!

Can anyone explain to me how I would under-expose a photo? If I set the aperture to 5.6, and I want to underexpose the photo, would I do this by adjusting the shutter speed? I have a Canon Rebel X camera, and inside the viewfinder it tells me by + - when I have the correct settings, but sometimes my photo will still appear washed out, so I thought if I under exposed it, it would make the photo less washed out looking. Any suggestion?

Surely this way Minolta and Olympus could beat Nokia and others out of the market, rather than be victimised? Isn't adding a phone function easier than making a proper camera?

I want to find black and white photos online of england (big ben and such), and I want to print them off onto special glossy paper. Now, I want them to look white and grey, you kow the look, not BLACK but ...greyish and white. I am having a hard time explaining. So would I look for those online and stay away from all color photos or could i find color and then print them in black and white?

I am in the middle of making my own-ONE man film.
I have a pair of $300.00 custom made contact lenses.
They are SOFT, non perscription and like I said, they are full eye.
I put a small RIP in one yesterday. Has anyone had experience with a ripped lense and if they HAD to, did they steam on ahead before HAVING to buy another set? Any knowlege about these odd eye costumes would be injested and appreciated by me LODES!
Thank you Sid Grimm

I'm looking for a high-quality, digital camera that doesn't require taking out a loan. On the other hand, I'm not looking for a point and shoot. This isn't for family vacations and scrapbooking. I'm looking to do serious work and possibly open my own studio if things go in the right direction.
