First of all, make sure your images are .JPEG files. That makes things alot easier.

Where do you wish to post images; Yahoo! Photos, Ebay, your website, MySpace, or email?

You can either host them yourself through your ISP or you can have your favorite website host.

If you host them yourself you will benefit from high-quality imagery, if they host the picture you will benefit from stable, no-hassle imaging.
