I always see, in drawing books, diagrams that show proportions relative to head lengths and the diagrams always show a person standing straight up with no foreshortening. Is there any mathematical way to apply these figures in foreshortening (3Dimensional Space) or are these proportions just to be used loosely as reference material when confronting the problem of foreshortening in those instances?

Ok. When you select a brush and you go over the picture youre working on, you can see the outline of the brush right. Well, I don't know what I did, but now I can't see that outline and I've been guessing where to place the brush. It's really annoying. Can someone tell me what to do in order to see that outline again?! Thanks!!!
