Find a huge piece of posterboard, then cut out all the pictures you can find for what you're making this (for example, games or pets or family). If they're important pictures, make sure you have copies to keep whole. Cut AROUND the object in the picture that you wish to keep for your collage. Without gluing or taping first, place the pictures on the posterboard in whatever patterns or spaces you wish to keep them in. THEN glue or tape one by one, exactly how you wish to place them. A good suggestion is to laminate the collage so it will last. I did this one time for my little cousins and made a collage of differe Disney and other animated movie posters I found online and color printed. They still have it to this day after about 5 years and say it's the coolest gift I gave them! Over 100 of them found and cut together.

Make a col-age. It's exactly what your describing!Take different pictures,IE.dogs, and arrange them out nicely 0n some poster-board.When you get them the way you think looks good, glue them down. When the glue dries,Spray with a matte,or satin clear coat.

why don't you cut out your different pictures and then literally arrange them to shape them into that one whole picture. I've seen paintings done this
way. Hope that helps..
