For Valentine's, I've decided to give my sweetheart one of our photos, but I would like it to be star-shaped.
What program could I use to do this?
I have tried Corel Draw, but it only draws the star shape on the photo, it does not crop the photo using that star shape.
Someone please help me, as Valentine's is tomorrow.

does the amount of thought that an artist puts into the sketch change the view of it? What if you spend hours drawing and fixing, but in pencil, would that be a sketch, art, or both?
give explainitory answers,
thanks

I just recently purchased a Glass dip pen to add to my collection, and i thought they were supposed to be smooth wrinting instruments, i find it to have a kind of scratchy effect, and the ink dries up really fast on the tip, mine has spirals on the tip for "larger ink capacity" but so far that claim doesnt seem to be holding up, can someone tell me how to use it if there is a special way, or do i just use it like a fountain pen? Thanks

What is the type of art where people/objects are outlined in big bold black lines, and instead of being colored in with a solid color, the people/objects are colored using dots? I dont remember a lot more about it, but it's retro, and I keep thinking of maybe around the time of Dick Tracy or something... I may be wrong on the time frame.

I'm studying publicity and I have a project which is to be given in on Wednesday, so help would be very much appreciated. Okay, here's what I have to do: invent a product (it can be simple, like a perfume or something) and then draw an advert for it (i then have to analyse my ad). can you give me ideas on what product i can do, and a name for it? and maybe a theme for my ad? i was thinking maybe jewelry but i need a name and a theme. Thanks!

I am going to get a tablet to work with Photoshop. When i zoom in to do finer work, will the pen still be drawing at a larger scale (then any little move will fly over the screen), or when zoomed, will the settings work on the smaller scale so i can draw small things as though they were large?

i'm really interested in drawing manga and i hope to have my own manga series someday.but most people tell me that its wise to learn to draw "real life" first. so. i was wondering what kind of art courses[e.g. human anatomy], websites, books, etc that would help me out. thanks :]
