do you mean how is the M painted onto the candy or what is the typeface of the M?

the M is printed onto the candy in a simmilar fashion to a how a newspaper is printed. it is basically rolled underneath a press and pressed with the M.

as for the typeface, I am not too sure about that. i reasearched it and came up with these two fonts of what it is though to be:
-Rockwell Condensed
-Amasis MT-Med

I saw this on either "How It's Made" or "Unwrapped". The "m" is stamped on by a machine ( quite delicatley I might add ) at the end of the line. There was even a period when the stamping machine had broken down, so for a little while there were "m"-less m&m's.
