I uploaded this image a few days ago and I just now showed it to my son. He turned pale, pointed at the monitor and passed out. I couldn't understand why this happened. When he regained consciousness, he said, "Dad! How did you DO that???" I didn't realize that I had indeed captured the image of a ghost. All I had to do was use the "Shadows/Highlights" tool in Photoshop and the ghost became clearly visible: http://www.flickr.com/photos/samfeinstein/2053461661/

Do you see it? Do you think I should stop taking pictures at night? If I am inviting spirits into my home, do you think they will do good or evil?

I'm gonna be painting the baptism wall at my church, it's a 8' x 8' piece of sheetrock. I'm using oil paints, I've never used them before so I need all the help I can get! Most of the picture will be fire-so I'm looking for some helpful tips on how to do fire(if you have a link with some pictorial instructions that would be awesome). Also, what mediums would you recommend, if any? Do I need to put down a primer/base, or paint directly on the sheetrock? And after I'm done, what should I finish it with, something like Fixatif?

I don't have a scanner and I really really can't afford even a cheap wacom tablet. Is it realistic for me to make drawings using my mouse? Does anyone do this? If yes, is there any big downsides to it that I need to be aware of?

I love Victorian Patterns and I wish I knew how to either draw or create them in Adobe Illustrator (The fancy scroll/ornamental patterns designers love to use.) Are there any books on doing this? Or online video tutorials?

Why do some 35 mm SLR's sync with the flash at 1/60 and others at 1/125?

Why do some larger format cameras sync at even higher speeds than the smaller SLR's?

Be as specific as you can be. I usually go for medium point black or blue, but I also really dig them snazzy looking fine-point Pilot Pens. They make me feel really technical.
