okay people hate graffiti
but do people really notice what it is
or how much time graff writers put in to graffiti

art is in the eye of the beholder!
we are in an advertisement age. graffiti artist get up where you can.
it is the same as a corporate company leaving an advertisement on you door nob.

To me Graffiti is a work of Art my father does Graffiti and it is amazing. The reason people hate graffiti is that some put it where it isn't wanted. Also if someone does graffiti they should make it something someone wants to see or an expression that makes sense and you took your time. you can't just throw something ugly and expect someone to call it marvelous then it deteriorates the love for graffiti towards everyone and doesn't appeal to peoples eyes then finds it a destruction of property. And to me people won't ever notice the beauty of it unless they have passion for anyhting. GRAFFTI IS AN ART!!!!

I look as graffiti as an amazing type of art form. If only the people who do it would use a wall or canvas that belongs to them and is not public property.

i luv how graffiti is i do think it is art, its not good when ppl put it all over the streets but when they do words or names in it, it looks really good. i want to become an artist when i get out of high school and i like to draw graffiti in the right way and i try to draw ppl and i like to use different font to do names

It depends on the type of graffiti. If it is obscene or offensive, I don't like it. Otherwise I don't have a problem with it.

it is destructive if it is on other people's property and should be charged as a felony; and as punishment:
the parents of the child doing the graffiti should have to stand out in daylight and repaint the entire structure that was defaced, while their child stands and watches the parents being humiliated.

i agree that it is art...and they spend a great deal of time creating their pieces, from thumbnailing to the final product.
and i think of it as eye candy
