Asking suggestions for name and image/logo ideas for the new art club at my college. It's a college for the arts concentrating in fashion, interior, and graphic designing as well as merchandising. I am the president of the club so it was left up to me to come up with some ideas but my brain is tired now so I thought to extend the task to the Yahoo answers community. I recently acquired multiple pieces of jewelry from the loss of my mom. Most of the jewelry was made pre 1995 so its not as fashionable today. I'd like to have it all melted down to his and her rings with the stones added from the existing rings.

Is this possbile and if so where could I find some that could handle a task such as this?

im trying to ship my darkroom chemicals to different state.they all are from kodak.post office(usps,fedex) tells me i need special stickers which i can get from kodak website.i turned it upsaid down,can not find!does anybody knows if there is other way?or help me find stickers?

Nikon FM10 - Canon Equilavent?
I am interested in starting as a true beginner in Photography. First off I am not looking to be swayed to purchase a digital SLR camera.

Okay. I want to start out at the complete basics. Currently I am looking into Manual Focus cameras. Due to the lens supply between canon and nikon those are the two main companies I am looking into. What is the equilavent camera offered by canon that offers the same beginner manual autofocus as the FM10.

f/32 is a larger aperture than f/16

f/11 lets in twice as much light as f/8 @ 1/125th second.


1/125th second is a shorter time than 1/60th second.


Changing your shutter speed one stop has the same effect on exposure as changing your aperture one stop.


“Relative aperture” is aperture in relation to focal length.


In terms of relative aperture, all f/16’s let in the same amount of light at a given shutter speed.


Going from f/8 to f/16 is an example of “stopping down”.


Going from a smaller relative aperture to a larger relative aperture is called “opening up”.


Stopping down two stops cuts the amount of light in half.


Exposer is a function of aperture and shutter speed.

I asked if anyone had any information about the artist A W Ross. (I bought a painting on London's Piccadilly in 1978 bearing this artist's signature). One single response came to the effect that it could be anyone with that name (unlikely I would have thought given the odds of two people sharing the same initials, surname, profession and place of business). But anyway, was that you voting for yourself Charlie3?!!!!!!!!!
