Either 2005-2010 or 2004-2009. Same thing really. My top 5 fav bands that were active during those times didn't begin making music at that time, but they were active. It's hard to pick five but I'll try. Chevelle AFI's old music (from the 90's) The Alkaline Trio's old music (from the 90's) Lamb of God (Ashes of the Wake is the only CD I have from them, it's awesome) Third Eye Blind (Doo doo doo!) The last thing I took a picture of was my face. Cause it's so hot it lights up outer space. Oooh!

Ok IF this is for a presentation it is hard to fill in the last 50 years background. What you could do is look up a few living artists (use Google).

eg look up Rolf Harris and you will find out who his teachers were and fellow students this will give you some paintings to look at or even use for the presentation. Another well known (Scottish) artist is Peter Howson also Davy Brown (egs on the web).

Try Googling 'German Expressionism' thats quite fruitful. It sounds daft but go into a good card shop and find some good birthday cards; on the back it will tell you who painted them. Go back to Google write in their names and click on images and you will see pics of their paintings. A lot of good paintings appear on birthday cards

DON'T PANIC

you will manage!

Alexander Calder would be fun to do a report on.

Other interesting options might be Claes Oldenburg, Chuck Close, Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein, or Andy Warhol.

Basquait is very interesting and one painter who came from the back alleys and graffitti. Rent the DVD("Basquait") then do more reserach on him.

no! i can't assume you put this in the correct category.I've seen too many in totally irrelevant categories.
