The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a
surrogate father to start their family. On the day the proxy
father was to arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife goodbye and said, "Well,
I'm off now. The man should be here soon."

Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer
happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale.

"Good morning, Ma'am," he said, "I've come to.............''

"Oh, no need to explain," Mrs. Smith cut in, embarrassed, "I've been
expecting you."

"Did you know that babies are my specialty?"

"Well that's what my husband and I had hoped. Please come in and have a
seat."

After a moment she asked, blushing, "Well, where do we start?"

"Leave everything to me. I usually try two in the bathtub, one on the
couch, and perhaps a couple on the bed. And sometimes the living
room floor is fun. You can really spread out there."

"Bathtub, living room floor? No wonder it didn't work out for Harry and
me!"

"Well, Ma'am, none of us can guarantee a good one every time. But if we
try several different positions and I shoot from six
or seven angles, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results."

"My, that's a lot!" gasped Mrs. Smith.

"Ma'am, in my line of work a man has to take his time. I'd love to be in
and out in five minutes, but I'm sure you'd be disappointed with
that."

"Don't I know it," said Mrs. Smith quietly.

The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled out a port folio of his
baby pictures. "This was done on the top of a bus," he said.

"Oh my God!" Mrs. Smith exclaimed, grasping at her throat.

"And these twins turned out exceptionally well - when you consider their
mother was so difficult to work with."

"She was difficult?" asked Mrs. Smith.

"Yes, I'm afraid so. I finally had to take her to the park to get the
job done right. People were crowding around four and five deep to get a
good look."

"Four and five deep?" said Mrs. Smith, her eyes wide with amazement.

"Yes," the photographer replied, "and, for more than three hours, too."

The mother was constantly squealing and yelling - I could hardly
concentrate, and when darkness approached I had to rush my shots.
Finally, when the squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I just had
to pack it all in."

Mrs. Smith leaned forward. "Do you mean they actually chewed on your,
um, equipment?"

"It's true, Ma'am, yes. Well, if you're ready, I'll set-up my tripod and
we can get to work right away."

"Tripod?"

"Oh yes, Ma'am. I need to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much
too big to be held in the hand very long."

Mrs. Smith fainted

I was told by a friend that the statue I have is bronze. I want to sell it but I need to prove that it is bronze and not a bronze finish. A magnet does not stick to it.

He manipulate nature to make designs and then photograph them....

I can remember atleast two photos(color), where he had fire on water, and where he took pebbles and put them in a circle. He made a gradient with the stones and then a black hole inthe middle....

Can anyone tell me the differences between the Louvre museum in France and the Getty Museum in L.A.? I heard a lot of people liked the Getty, and I wonder if it reaches the same category as the Louvre.

I have an old photo that has mildewed from not being protected by glass in the frame. It was packed away in a plastic tote and somehow the lid became unfastened in the shed where it was stored. This photo is very precious and sentimental to my family. Does anyone know of a safe way to remove the mildew without damaging the picture itself? I think it may be the only one of its kind so there may be no way of reproducing it from another.

I would like to buy a lens for my wifes new camera. She would like to have a lens that takes better pictures from far away. She has the 50mm-80mm lens that comes with the camera, but would like to upgrade. I have around $500 to invest. I am not even sure if this is enough. I think she would like to be able to take pictures from about 50 feet away. Help, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a digital camera, so of course all my photos are on the computer. Well, I have about 2 or more years worth of photos I'd like to have printed & put into photo albums. I've printed photos out at home with my own printer but even with the right paper I don't like the quality as good as with getting it done somewhere else, plus the ink gets expensive. I've printed some from Wal-Mart. From any experience out there, where should I intend to have all my photos printed from? I'm mostly looking at expenses. I'm not going to do it all at once but maybe 25-50 at a time every month or so. I think the Wal-Mart would be good but I know that there are places on the internet, like Shutterfly perhaps? What do you know about different prices? Thanks!

I am going to buy a set of blue poi (don't ask) and I need to choose the colours for the tails. These are 6 ribbons in 3 colours, and I would like one of them to be blue in order to match the poi. What other colours would you choose?? I don't really like yellow! Thanks.

This is a genuine plea for help guys!!! I've recently started a job as a photographer by pure blagging and blagging alone. it's been going fine, but now my boss is getting pissed about the heavy shadowing in some of my shots. He's showed me some pictures from other companies and all of their shots have pearly white backgrounds with no shadows!!! Where am I going wrong? he's keen to buy eqipment to help resolve the prob - but I can't even reccomend what to buy...perhaps you can?
Many, many thanks.
