My friend suggested that i could do animation using a scanner and drawned pictures on paper...is it possible then to do that then animate the whole thing using flash? open to traditional or computer animators

When you enter DeviantArt you find Amazing Anime/Manga drawings drawn by Westren Artist but the look more like really good graphics than artistic. and when i look on Anime/Manga Drawn by Japanese artists Damn its feels different even when some times its looks far more simple then the westren ones

Beginner studio: Canon Digital Rebel, two 110 w/s strobes bounced into white umbrellas. One of the strobes is PC wired in to fire with shutter release, the other is passive fill light. Both strobes set to lowest power on the dial.

Dilemma: When ISO is at 100, strobe fires but camera still takes many seconds on exposure, perhaps 4 sec. at f5.5. When ISO is set higher, exposure is quick, but picture is then blown out too bright.

I don't see other people metering and their exposures are split second, with great shots. What the heck am I missing? Also, I don't know much about metering, etc.

can somebody help me about photoshop! im new in using photoshop and i got some problem in using gradient tool.. i wanna make an oval shape with a gradient effect inside in that shape but i cant do it!, it says that "Cannot use the gradient tool because the content of the layer is not directly editable".. plss somebody help me!

Any idea how Dark Helmets mask mechanism worked? The mask is so large that it goes over the top of his head. How did his head rest inside the helmet? I have studied flight pilot helmet visors. There may be a few clues there. Any help? I make the normal white and black Spaceball helmets but now I need to recreate Rick Moranis' helmet.

sort of like a portrait from the late 1800's (sepia, worn out, etc).
i already got the sepia, but need the texture (what texturizer is best?)

I love this art! But I don't know what it's called. For instance, if I were to do a search for clip art based on this, what would I call it? I've seen a lot of t-shirts lately with this type of art. Also, music magazines such as Revolver feature this type of art in their graphics. I've seen it referred to as maximalist, but that's gotten me nowhere.
