I love this art! But I don't know what it's called. For instance, if I were to do a search for clip art based on this, what would I call it? I've seen a lot of t-shirts lately with this type of art. Also, music magazines such as Revolver feature this type of art in their graphics. I've seen it referred to as maximalist, but that's gotten me nowhere.

I know this is a collage art, made with digital images on layers. But what I'm interested in knowing is what is the STYLE of art? e.g. Gothic, Grunge, etc., so I can look for clip-art in this style. It appears that the images are engravings-made-digital, but I am looking for search terms to use for finding more of this kind of art. I do both rubber-stamping and collages myself so am aware of the techniques (both digital and non) but would like to find clip-art in this style, whatever it is. Thanks!

it says "digital art" at the top of the page....just kidding.

This is known as rubber stamp art.

This kind of art is created with a mixture of wither digital paint & fonts with clip art images or actual paint with rubber stamps used to add the graphic elements.

David Byrne of Talking Heads legend has published a book of art he has made using Microsoft's Power Point exclusively. It's interesting & similar to this.

That isn't art, it is Illustration. If you are asking about the technique it's simply collage. Collage done on a computer with digital imagery but still a collage.

Collage: A technique of composing a work of art by pasting on a single surface various materials not normally associated with one another.

An assemblage or occurrence of diverse elements or fragments in unlikely or unexpected juxtaposition
