Have you ever heard pf a traveling art piece where multiple people add something to it?

I was thinking of starting a piece where it could be sent around the world and many people can add to it. It could be a single large board where you could add any sort of visual art from poetry to photagraphy etc. Has there been such a thing?

Yes and no.
It exists ,only not traveling.
In 2005 biennale in Venice there was a room with white panels -white in the beginning that is -and there were pencils all around and everybody added something to it.
In 2003 biennale in Venice there was a wall ,where everybody could pin an object hanging in a plastic bag.
I like the traveling part.
Definitely do it.
