I know you can use scotchgaurd, but is there anything else that would work and be more/longer lasting?
Do you have the recipe for magic sand/mystical sand/mystic sand that you could share?
Thank you!

hi! i have just started painting a couple of months ago, it was more of a case of waking up one morning, and realising i had to paint! i had no prior experience, and just bought the first thing i saw-watercolours. i painted somewhat, and naturally my family told me it was good (family hardly wants to hurt you), but when i put them up in my residence wall, my friends were amazed and asked me where i had got them from. so i assume they are good. i now paint abstract paintings, using craft paint and water colours together, and they seem ok. i was just wondering, how do i continue this? i have had no lessons before. do i just paint my way, and leave it? or get professional assistance? i'm a student, and i do not have plenty of cash. thanks alot=)

I use Photoshop, but I'm unsure of the best way to make the smallest PDF possible while retaining the quality of the image.

I have a glass candy bowl -approx 100 yrs. old. It has blue white opaque fluted edges. When I hold up the bowl to the light and look through the edges I see orange. I was really surprised when I first saw this. It is beautiful. What is the name of this kind of glass?

I have recently graduated from art college. I have an exhibition coming up and a studio to work in so I'm pretty set up to make work. However I just can't seem to get going, my mind is just blank. This has happened before, and generally if i sat in my space for long enough , or went to a few shows something would spark in my head, but this approach just doesn't seem to be working and I'm getting very frustrated. Any advice?
