Perfect.
Riiight, nope. It's all "eye of the beholder", perspective, relativity, subjective. It can be mind blowing to some, and yawn inspiring to others. It can be trash to one, and 'perfect' to others.
If the piece makes you smile, then it's 'perfect' in all it's 'imperfections'.
It's the glitches that catch our eye as a 'creator' of art, we fret over them, fight with them, and sometimes just let them be...and we love the piece anyway.

If there was such a thing as perfect art, only the artist would be happy upon it's completion.
All art has to do is strike an emotive chord with *somebody*, invoke some feeling some passion in some way.

It depends on your definition of perfect. If you mean does it have to realistically represent something - then the answer is no.
Perfect art for me is when an emotion or feeling can be conveyed in a few strokes of paint or a few chords of music.
Everybody's definitions will be different.

No. Leonardo kept dragging the Mona Lisa around because he didn't think it was done right.
Art is never perfect. That's part of what makes it art.

According to my brother's first kindergarten teacher, YES.
He "flunked sandbox" because:
1) He got an F on has snowman drawing with an added remark exclaiming, "We were drawing bluebirds today!"
2) The class had to draw a road trip. Everyone drew a car with happy-faced people..except for my brother who turned in a bunch of "scribbly lines." F on that. Our mother took the time to inquire about it and found out he had thought out an actual road trip -- making a map with all the turns in the road to another town and back.
By the way, this brother is now playing in a bigger sandpile, as in rock quarry; and if he'd want to draw a snowman now, no one would dare question it!

ARE YOU KIDDING? art is never perfect! it's free expression, and you dont even have to make it look like anything. it can just be a bunck of colors thrown to match your mood. Blue, and dark colors for agnst and pale colors for blank feelings, and bright colors for happiness. no one has to like it, only you do, hon, don't ley anyone tell you 'well that's not perfect' because it doesn't have to be.

The closest anyone ever comes to perfection is on a job application.

No, it does not have to be perfect. Though people say it does, most artwork is not perfect to many people and that's what makes it special to others.

Art is what it is. ART. Beauty is in the eye(s) of the beholder.
