You might try a technique that I use when I'm in a slump.....
reverse the old saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" to "A word is worth a thousand pictures."

Words like compassion, racism, love, fog, flow, ect.....can get your mind thinking about relationships of people, places and things. Your interpretation of these words define the project and your "style".

Hope this helps and good luck with school.

I totally get having a block on comming up with a theme, I have them all the time! The best advice is start shooting- compose the images technically and artistically and see what strikes you. My professors always tell me that film is cheap, shoot, shoot, shoot. When I follow thier advice I always find a subject I am passionate about, if only by trial and error.

If you don't have the imagination to come up with you own theme, you don't have what it takes to go to ART SCHOOL. I implore you, please find another profession.
