There's a photographer that shoots editorials that are almost cinematic in appearance. First he shoots from the air, straight down on an accident scene, or something along those lines. Then he zooms in and the final shot in the serious would be a close up of the model lying on the ground. I'm not sure how else to describe him, and I think if any of you have seen his work you'd know who I'm talking about.

I am used to using a gloss enamel paint brand called Testors for craft projects. I was wondering if there was a way I could use acrylic paint but make it glossy somehow? I am not familiar with acrylic paint so can I add a gloss varnish to it, ie. mixing it into my acrylics to make them glossy beforehand or spraying the varnish as a final coat to gloss the craft items? Any advice much appreciated!

I am an aspiring artist who regulary paints as it is a hobby i find interesting and enjoy. Many of my friends and family ask me to create paintings for them on a regular basis and have also commented that i should showcase and even sell my art. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this. Ebay is my only idea so far.

I want to document my artwork and put it on a website. I only have a pretty nice digital camera (but it is Kodak) to use. Will this work? I do not have a tripod or one I have access to. How should I go about taking the pictures? And do you know of any free software available for download to edit the pictures- pretty basic editing as in cropping, sizing, some color, etc.- that works well for paintings?

I have recently tried to make my own website showcasing my paintings but it was too much of a hassle. I've found someone willing to design, host, and register the domain, along with monthly updates and other goodies for $30 a month. So the first question is- is that a good price?

Second I know what I pretty much want on my website but I was wondering if you had any examples of an artist's website that caught your attention. Especially one with a statement/resume on it. I would like to look at a few to get an idea.

I really want to get hold of the poster/print of Inge Morath's photo of the Llama sticking it's head out of a New York taxi. I have checked so many online shops both here and abroad and they all say that it is out of print.
It is such a fantastic photo and it makes me laugh everytime that I see it. If anyone knows where I might purchase it or has any suggestions then please let me know. Thank you
