I mean ballpark say a 3 or 4 inch sized, w/ 2-3 colors? Nice-work by a good tattooist? can anybodu guesstimate for me? Thanks

I have one that is about that size. I paid about $120 - $130 for the work and then added in the tip. When it comes to a tattoo, do your homework. Research the person / place that will be doing the work. And when it comes to tattoos, I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. (If it's really cheap - there's probably a reason for that!!)

Depends on your location and how many tattoo artists are in the area. Also, if it's an original design (not one off the wall but one you bring in), it will cost more.
My area (100K people), it would cost around $100. The best here (Harry) has a bachelor's degree in commercial design. But, the true test is to look through their photo book. Look at the designs they've already done on people (not what's printed on the wall).

depends a lot on the art work of the artist, How well known his or her work is, has he or she been featured in magazines or publications. is it your design or something already with a pattern in a shop. I would guesstimate between 125. and 200. if it is not custom work by the artist.

im ah guess around 75 - 125 depending on detail, shading, is it 3 sq. inces or jus a long skinny thing. now thats atlanta area prices, i heard n new orleans what we pay a hundred for they charged 50 so good luck /

i got one about that size and payed $120. that was in canada.
