Heres the issue: there is a theatre teacher that has been at our school for years, and now there is a new teacher. He has just cast a play w/ 20ish roles. The old theatre teacher did a musical earlier this year (i.e. auditions were last year). I was cast as the lead role. But this time i didnt get a part and niether did my friend...so we are planning to put on another production with the old teachers help. The issue is how do we convince the teacher to help us w/ out the new guy getting mad and thinking we are competing w/ him? BTW, we are just trying to give those who have true talent another chance because out of 70 tryouts, 2 advanced theatre students made the cast. and there are 60ish advanced students in all. He only picked kids from his classes.

If you emailed a talent agency your photos, and they are interested in representing you, and you live in San Jose, Ca, and you need to go down to Los Angeles, do they pay for your transportation and sheltering, or do you have to do that on your own?

also, what fees do you have to pay the talent agency, or anything to be an actor?

I know there are Stage Plays which require nudity and simulative sex on the stage.
Are there any stage plays where it is necessary to perform oral sex and sexual intercourse on the stage?

I auditioned for Mortimer and got Officer O Hara (what's an actor to do? haha) and I'm stumped about what this guy is about. Is he Irish, thus a heavy accent? Or what accent, if any, is necessary? I plan on watching the film over the weekend, but I don't want to base my character 100% off of the one in the film.

Thank you so much for any help! It really would assist me!

I am a teenager who desperately wants to get into the TV acting career, but I have no clue where to start. I live in the Chicago area, and I haven't done any commercials or small roles in TV shows yet. Are there any good places that can help me start on my TV acting career?
I have seen auditions for various TV shows where all you need to submit is a photo, demo reel, and resume. However, I do not really have anything to put on my resume, as literally all I have done in theatre is a school musical.

Thank you very much for all of your help and support!

*One more thing*
Please don't post answers that tell me I'll never make it in show business. I believe that I have what it takes, and I want to definitely give it my best shot.

A lot more clearly than is usually heard in day-to-day speech. This is really noticeable in community theatre, where the main actor/actress leads are way easier to hear than those with fewer lines. What is their secret to doing this?
