My high school is putting on a production of the Broadway musical, Superman and I REALLY want to get the part of Lois Lane. My audition's on the 10th and I need a Broadway song that I could use for my audition. Any ideas?

Any Broadway song would do, as long as I can actually sing it! =p

If you happen to find a website where I can listen to how the song is sung, that would help tremendously! Thank you!

I didn't know there was a Broadway musical, Superman. However, if you can find a song from it for your audition, it would impress the teachers and students. If you can't find anything from Superman, choose something you already know and can sing with confidence. Dreamgirls has some great songs and so do Damn Yankees and Grease. Pick something that shows off your talents.

West Side Story, "I Feel Pretty," sung by Rosalia, mid alto-soprano range, enthusiastic and loads of fun. Put enthusiasm into your tone when you sing and smile through as you sing, make eye contact with the drama/musical directors and do not be afraid to frolic and dance when yousing.
Another good audition is Velcome Ne Benu from Cabaret, same range and lots of fun... Come to the Cabaret my friend...
Good luck and break a leg!!!

This is the Moment.
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde.
Hit the high notes and show how powerful your voice is. Don't over do it, but make sure it's emotional. Keep a smile on your face---as much as possible. Judges just naturally mimic your expression.
Good luck,
Justin

I'm not sure what kind of voice you have. You should just consult with a choir teacher.
Try something a little bold and a little obscure so they will be impressed with your musical knowledge.
Perhaps a Gershwin song?

"My Strongest Suit" from "Aida"
"Every Story is a Love Story" from "Aida"
"I have Confidence" from "The Sound of Music"
"I Can't Say No" from "Oklahoma"
"Good Morning, Baltimore" from "Hairspray"
~I'm not sure if all of these songs are from Broadway, but they have been sung in musicals.

i dont really know any broadway songs but you should try to pick one that you sound familiar to that singer who sings it, because usually it sounds good when you sing the song similar to the way that the person who originally sang it
