Well i am trying out for the school play this year and they ask if we had any experience.
My question is... Is the following considered theater experience?
I did a program called "youth song" we were preformed songs and poems, Is this considered it? thanks!

That is most definitely performing experience and that counts!

Performing Poems is like reading a monologue. You can say you have performing experience as well as singing. It counts but make sure to go all out so that they know that your capable of doing a lead role. So don't rest of experience. Show them you have the talent. Break a leg!

Mention it. Weather it will be considered theatre experience will be a judgement call on the part of those asking.

You were on stage. You performed (not "preformed") in front of an audience. Yes, that counts.
