Most people would perceive commiting suicide as sinful, ethically wrong and cowardly. Although these arguments may seem perfectly valid at first, I must say that I disagree. After all, it is one's right to take his or her own life if one so desires. By preventing that, you would have that person suffer more. Besides, it isn't exactly going to affect the human population, is it?
Some would say it is ethically wrong? How so? After all, what are ethics? Ethics is only ethics as far as we perceive it to be as it is.

So my question is this, do you think it wrong for one to commit suicide? And please give your reasons why it is or isn't wrong. Answers in philosophical context preferably.

Thanks and for the record, no I'm not thinking of doing that.

Agnostics don't think a person can achieve ultimate knowledge as far as God.... ok, what is ultimate knowledge? Do they just mean proof of God or what? I lot of atheists say that they have enough doubt in God that they know God does not exist and are therefor not agnostic....

but what is knowledge by the agnostic terms?

Passive anger can be expressed in the following ways:

Secretive behavior, such as stockpiling resentments that are expressed behind people’s backs, giving the silent treatment or under the breath mutterings, avoiding eye contact, putting people down, gossiping, anonymous complaints, poison pen letters, stealing, and conning.
Manipulation, such as provoking people to aggression and then patronizing them, forgiveness, provoking aggression but staying on the sidelines, emotional blackmail, false tearfulness, feigning illness, sabotaging relationships, using sexual provocation, using a third party to convey negative feelings, withholding money or resources.
Self-blame, such as apologizing too often, being overly critical, inviting criticism.
Self-sacrifice, such as being overly helpful, making do with second best, quietly making long suffering signs but refusing help, or lapping up gratefulness.

it just seems to me we rely on money for everything in life,
wouldn't it be nice if there was an alternative and that
we were not governed and controlled by money, if there was no money in the world what would you suggest as an alternative ?
