i am from asia, and really do not understand what dating meant, a 14 year old boy dating a 15 year old girl.
what really meant by dating? does it involve sex?

no, it doesnt have to involve sex, dating has different definitions, but basically it means making arrangements to spend time with someone, especially in its initial stages, such as making plans to go to a movie, a dance, etc
later, it can mean an exclusive relationship, that your interest is only towards one person, and that is the only person you date
a trend here in the USA, with young people, is to use terms like dating or going together, when they never actually go on dates, it just means they are claiming each other as girlfriend /boyfriend, this trend is popular with young teens in your age range, older ones actually make and go on dates

It just means that a couple are seeing each other regularly in a non-platonic capacity. It doesn't have to involve sex though!
