Purify your motives. Purge your conscience. Commit your soul. Follow your heart. Do it in love. Believe you can do it. Don't give up. Nothing is beyond you. Any other suggestions?

Do you ever care for tomorrow or are you like me who careless?? I mean feel like tomorrow will be no different than today. Instead of believing or telling my self tomorrow is another day or another bright happy day, I feel like it’s just another depressing day. I hate being this way but when you have no excitement in your life, work being a struggle, having no friends or a true love in your life for the 25yrs you lived makes you to hate think nothing but the moment your in. Now I know many of you or all of you have absolutely a wonderful life that you could be mad at the day was short or can’t wait for another exciting day and bla bla bla but to me is like I don’t even want to see another tomorrow and that bother me a lot. What should I do to make this ugly life of mine more fun like other people I mean I work very hard, I have accomplish a lot in my life(educationally), own a house and drive a good car but none of those things brought any excitement in my life so what should I do??? I feel like I just live to work instead of work to live. Please help me in any way you can because I’m loose in it Thanks in advance.

Your answer will tell where your mind is.

...I mean...logically that would mean that your brain would have to "make a decision to make a decision to make a decision" and on and on infinitely going backwards when you trace the beginning of the thought process to "make a decision to make a decison" and so on...

Does that not prove there is a "mind/brain" separation, and that our "consciousness" IS actually floating above our brain matter like a holographic ghost?

Chapter XXXII

* Verse 72: "Heaven and earth will unite and sweet dew will fall." A hint that miraculous effects might be expected from Not Doing: Nature will even produce good weather if we are in harmony with the Tao. This would have unfortunate consequences in some applications of Zen. "And the people will be equitable, though no one so decrees." Again, political advice, not so different from Confucius, since, if the ruler is good, people will be good without being ordered.

Does it bother anyone besides me that we can’t adequately describe the three basic elements of existence – space, matter, and time?

We have formulae that follow the laws of our observable universe. We’ve been to the moon, we have atomic clocks and daylight savings time, and we know sodium and chloride combine to make salt.

We observe space, but have no handle on infinity…how big space is…where space is or really what space is.

Matter – we have a good handle on managing stuff…but we don’t know where the original matter came from.

Time – we have the best handle on time, but we can’t accurately describe it. And what was happening three years before time began? How could time have always been?

It bothers me that we can’t describe these three. Does it bother anyone else?

I don't mean the Holy Ghost or Spirit. I have no hidden agenda or point to make. I am merely curious and want your thoughts.

Have you ever thought about what YOU would do? Who would you choose to spend it with and why? Are there unanswered questions you would want to ask this person? What are they? Or, is there an unresolved issue with this lost loved one that has been holding you hostage emotionally? What is it? If you got a chance to do something like this, how would YOU behave differently toward them? What would you want them to know? Would you apologize for something? Would you forgive them? What would you need to happen so you can find closure to finally move on?

I speak to a very good friend online everyday. He always likes talking to me and leaves me offline messages if Im not around.

Recently - i find he is growing closer to me. Trusting me with his deeper issues and thoughts. He says im loyal.

I feel I have to tread carefully now because I dont want to hurt him in any way because he is revealing his vulnerable side.

Is this what men REALLY want? A woman they can trust and share their innermost feelings with?

"truth is how you percieve the world, very little else matters unless you are willing to change your perceptions, which happens only every so often when you switch views."

is this a correct statement? can you argue against it?

And how do we achieve an optimal condition? I think these are the most important philosophical questions of our time, yet I don't see anyone working on these problems. Unless you count war and other forms of self-destruction...

I get a lot of crap from people who rely on me to start a debate. Then when i do they decide the subject is stupid. The door is open. Start a debate. I get more response than all of you combined in all catagories. Then again I am willing to be condemed by those who are reliant on me.
Start a debate. If it is a good one I will respond. If it isn't I will go to the next question and forego making stupid remarks like I get from little people.
Stupid remarks will not impress me. On the contrary.
