Pentacostals are the only group that regularly try to predict it, and even then they actually believe it is more than a prediction. When it does not happen, they tell themselves, "Oh, we were wrong, but let's not give up. Someday we will ge it right and the world will end when we say. Then we know we were finally right."
The mystic Pentacostals cannot do it, and reasonable men will not try it.

Nobody knows when the end will come. And it's useless to speculate when and how and where. Nor can any one profess to know it regardless of their religion or philosophy, whether pentecostal or not. The only thing we should know is that it will come and wait till and as it unfolds before our eyes and our very own senses.

because its made up; its not actually going to happen. If you put an actual official date on the records, than that gives you 3 options...
i) you're right, the world ends. you have the reward of a few hours of being right while the world ends after years of scorn and sarcasm.
ii) you're wrong, your religion is now discredited and you can be laughed at until the day you die.
iii) you predict a date so far off that whether you are right or wrong, you'll be dead by than anyways, so who cares.

There is One who knows -- God the Father Almighty. Jesus made the point to the Hebrews to emphasize the importance of being righteous and "getting right with God" right away since you don't know if you're going to die tomorrow.

Um, because Judgment Day is just another apocalyptic fantasy, a part of the mythology of religion.
You appear to be Muslim, so I can't comment much about Judgment Day in Islam. I can say that in the xtian bible, the book of Revelations was very nearly almost not included, because even in those barbaric, ignorant days it was regarded as little more than a collection of insane ramblings. (For those not in the know, in the early days of xtianity the Church held councils to determine which books to include in "the" bible and which to exclude.)

If people knew the day, they would be jerks up until the day before and then repent their sins and get in. God wants you to be good ALL the time and not just at the curtain call.

Because then all the lawyers would have the time to prepare themselves, and God doesn't want some sleazy lawyers getting people off the hook on technicalities.

Because there is no day of Judgement.
Man will keep going until he uses all he has (resources), not caring about the earth (our home) and then our self- destructive natures will return this planet to a paradise, not by our presence, but our absence, ruled by animals, without a human voice to be heard.
No god will punish us, and no heaven as a reward. There will only be silence.
