Yes. It is natural for humans to respond to what is good and true. It is the forces of doubt and fear and the appeal to ego that pulls them away from what they innately know as truth and goodness. Parents should cultivate that natural ability to grow in the spirit of good, but too often, especially today, fail, and people grow too much in the realm of darkness.

I think people's sense of right and wrong comes more from genetics than from upbringing and experience. Science seems to be supporting this more and more.

I don't believe in 'good' or 'evil' as supernatural forces. People function in a way that gives them satisfaction, not unlike animals. If something works in their favor and makes them 'happy', that is how they will conduct their lives. Being 'good' (for lack of a better word) will almost always work in their favor. If a dog behaves the way they are trained, they get a cookie. It's no different for humans.

These are behaviors that are learned early oe. It's a system that works well. But for the most part, most people do what provides the highest degree of happiness in return.

No, people are born as they are. And somtimes life shapes them, and sometimes they stay exactly the same.Else there would be a certain factor which could cause like a hundred persons be the same because they were raised the same.
There's always one who's diiferent, good ar bad.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
-Robert Frost

- this poem talks about how nothing "gold", or good can stay..
Nature's first green is gold; this line answers our question, yes people are born good.. or a better word for it is innocent,
but as they grow older,
society, and the people around them effect them..
if they were born and raised in a good family, they'll most likely turn out to be good people..
good people make mistakes though..
and as we grow older,
we don't seem so innocent anymore..
do we?

humans are born neither good nor bad.

good and bad are creations of humans to describe what we personally like and dislike.

in many cases it is arguable whether or not a particular subject is good or bad anyway.

humans are however born innocent, which is not the same thing as good at all.

No, people are born innocent. Nature and Nurture contribute to the moral standards a person grows up to be.
