Long distance and time normally make the heart grow fonder, just as familiarity breeds contempt. If people are truly in love with each other, long distance and time apart can rend the heart asunder with great agony of not being able to feel and see each other. This problem, however, is mitigated by the modern opportunities of cheaper phone calls and the internet. With the superficial or fake love, it is 'out of sight, out of mind'. Such spatial and time distances will make the partners seek solace somewhere else. At any rate, it is advisable to minimize the occurrences of situations leading to spatial and time separation for an enduring time period so as not to harm the heart of the true lovers.

Your love definitely has time to grow between two sweethearts or loved ones that are far apart. The absence is simply the deepest longing for the companionship of one that gives one hope and meaning during the day; and to stay focused and grounded in life. One can hardly wait until one is united. physically with the loved ones.

Might sound silly but for us love is apart from the mechanics of making a relationship work. Its sort of like the sky is blue, it just is. If you love some one, you love someone, weather they’re blue or pink, it just is. That said love is apart from time and distance too.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. This is true and I've experienced on a deep level. The military will teach you this.
