What the hell is the purpose of life. if all we do is live to die at the end why do we do anything in between.. what the hell does it matter what we do with are lifes because were just going to die in the end so does it really matter what we do inbetween anyways?

I wonder if one could make his/her own philisophy like that of pioneer thinkers of education like Socrates "Knowledge is virtue", Plato "social justice", Locke "tabula rasa", Herbart "doctrine of appreciation", John Dewey"Education is Life" and etc. If you were to have one what philsophy would it be?
