Okay, God created heaven and earth. so be it.

he controls the weather ; the rains, lighting, floods (we all know) etc.

If God is doing all of this , then who is mother nature, what is she doing to the environment and how did knowledge of this woman come about.

Are we just for his entertainment? Was he just bored and made it like a game? Since he basically put us on Earth and said "you can't do this, or this, and you have to do this and this"
What was the whole point of his creation and giving us free will if he doesn't want us to "go the other way"?

Please don't insult me, I'm not questioning religion, just asking to see what people think.

apparently according to texts found in the bible, all who do not accept god and jesus as their savior have the spirit of the antichrisht within them.

so does that mean that there are multiple antichrists and i am one of them?

In your own words please (I am not interested in stealing your ideas, I am simply looking to gather an informal survey of sorts on the state of human relations in the 21st century, if that makes any sense).

Hello

I'm looking for some quotes or sayings about history, that would be philosophically, simple, easy to understand but which would have a big and true meaning about the history, and one that will touch peoples hearts and will make them to think about history.

Thank You

I'm doing a research study on various methods of donating "something" to humanity which would be perpetual. That means that society or humanity will benefit from this act or this donation, well after your death.

Examples are:
1. Wilderness Protection;
2. Inventions;
3. Acts of kindness;
4. Exceptional teachers (Abe Lincoln wouldn't have been where he was without a great school teacher);
5. Religious truths;
6. Nobel Peace Prize winners;
7. Philosophies of life;
8. Leading an exceptional life;
9. Having "successful" children (they don't have to be wealthy to be exceptional);
10. Leaving a particular legacy;
11. Super Mom or Dad;
12. Scientific contributions.

If you have any ideas, please feel free to let me know. If you have one idea - great! If you have many ideas - that would be fantastic!

Thanks!

The battle for truth is on. Five thousand years of recorded history, YET earth is over 4.5 "billion" years old. So where was the human species for 4,999,995,000 years? Think about it. If we did not EVOLVE, where did we come from? Most say "God." But where did "it" come from? All this aside, if by nature we were all evil, would humans exist? Would they exist if we were all "good?" IF everyone were evil for sure no human would exist, but would it not apply to the good also? OVERPOPULATION, STARVATION, and resources depleted.
The "good" would not be so good for long. Despite how we as humans are by nature, are we not PERFECT just the ways we ARE? Tell me what you think.......

I am taking philosophy and the teacher asked a "seemingly" hard question. "What is beuty if it varies? Is there such a thing as "beuty"? From where does the idea of beutiful come? because a picture drawn crucked might be beutiful for some but not for others." We went in circles for about an hour but no conclusions were made. What do you all think?
She asked us to explain the quotes "First you discover the visible things then the eye that sees it" & "Can it be that the natural things that we don't think about not really natural because we don't think about them at all?" I know an answer but asking for more view points wont hurt right?
Between Socrates "The human knows all on the inside, just needs to bring it out" & Descartes "I think, then exist" Who is right? Allknowing or always learning? The quotes I translated from another lenguage so don't expect to find them. Thanks a lot for any opinion.

what would u say is the meaning of us being born & then to die. i believe it is for us to learn new things, learn by our mistakes, to go through "hell un high water" to acchive things in our lives. to have happyness, sadness, hardship. to love and be loved. then come back and do it all over again.

whether it is going back in time a few minutes before to erase a mistake we just made or years back, sometimes my only wish is that i could go back into the past. sometimes i want to go back to erase a bad moment of my life or sometimes i want to relive the past because of an awesome moment in my life. is ther anything more impossible than to be able to relive our past physically????????? does anyone else ever feel this way, in which the only thing we could ever want is to relive our past?? i know it is impossible to go back in time but i cant help it that in my mind i still tell god that i wish i could rewind. i just want to know if anyone else ever feels this way.
