Are we just for his entertainment? Was he just bored and made it like a game? Since he basically put us on Earth and said "you can't do this, or this, and you have to do this and this"
What was the whole point of his creation and giving us free will if he doesn't want us to "go the other way"?
Please don't insult me, I'm not questioning religion, just asking to see what people think.

I knwo he created us to serve him, but my question is why? Why does he need people following him? That's like saying he created us because he knows he's great and he just wants people to worship him...isn't that a sin?

I think he just took a dump one day and moved on. And we evolved from the dump.

As Catholics we're taught that God was an eternal being that was just always there. Honestly, if you were the only being in existance you would want some company or something. I personally think we were created so he could watch us evolve and one day we could join him, so we would be in a way like children. It's like asking the question "Why do people have children?".

That's one of the reasons why people suffer; because they despise God. If God is love, then He cannot punish nor reward, because that would be unfair, and if you believe in an unfair God, then you're just idiots, and that's not fair either.
If God is love, what makes you think he would punish and/or reward you for anything?
You mean, we have to go through all this to serve God?
What could you possibly serve God with?
What could you possibly give to God?
Do you think God needs anything from you, even to be served?
You gotta give yourselves a break, where do you get so much arrogance?

Do you have children? Do you want any in the future? If you have none and do want, why?. Do you want them to love you, or do you want to force them to love you? In any relationship(which is what God wants with us, a relationship) do you want a robot or a real life individual that loves you for who you are. If you had the power to create anything within you character, what would you make. I think God sayed......" I GOT IT, I'll make a being that has the choice of honoring me or not, and if they get in trouble I'll be there to help them and give them a way out of their misery"

Once God had a beautiful idea. An Idea so lovely, so perfect the He did not want to be without it. God loved this idea so much that He thought a part of himself to have enough individuality to see its self as separate as a unit as an individual as you.
God did this so that He might have you to love and so He would have you to love him.
Love and blessings Don

He created us to serve him, not as slaves, but as followers. He puts us through tests to test our loyalty, and he teaches us. Then we die and we are judged. The reason was not for any impiticulare cause, just to hae someone serve him. However, not in a greedy way.

In your "Additional comments"...... Yeah, that's it exactly! We are very much like him, "made in his image"..... corrupt, inherently flawed by design.
Another THEORY is that we human beings (while living) produce a specific type of energy, which feeds the cosmic machine.... what we percieve to be as "God".

Think of it like gods in training. We must master ourselves and in order to do so it is necessary for us to have the ability to choose the other path. Will you pass God's test?

He wanted a people He could love and who would love Him of their own accord - hence free will.
Free will means you can love Him or not - it's all your choice. Sure, He wants you to love Him but you don't have to - you can opt to do whatever you wish.
