How intelligent is a person who does not understand ignorant things?

Intelligence isn't based upon us thinking we know whats wrong are us... but instead knowing whats wrong inside us...

If we know what's it is wrong with our thinking, we then can improve...

You should never think something seems ignorant... maybe you are being the ignorant...

Staying open to the idea that we know little and have much to learn is the ever-ending path to maturing and getting wiser...

I think that a trully wise person knows his own ignorance and do not try to find it in others....

By not being a constant critic to others and staying out of the field of arrogance, we will seem wiser and we will get wiser....

Hope that helps!

knowlege comes from experience or book literature.

if a person is so smart that they cannot have an ignorant experience then it goes to say that a very intelligent person would not be interested to know anything of which pertains to ignorant things.

kind of like if a tree falls in the woods and there is noone there to hear it does it make a sound?

Intelligent people do not try to figure out things that are ignorant. Ignorance is a waste of time. Intelligent people know THAT!!!

How can intelligence be measured? My uncle once told me that no one is smarter than anyone. A surgeon is not necessarily smarter than an auto mechanic because while he may have the ability to repair a biological machine he may be unable to repair a man made machine like the mechanic. So trying to figure out how intelligent someone is an exercise in vanity and it should be avoided in my opinion.

Understanding is far different than and not related to either intelligence or ignorance. "Intelligence" is knowing that!

I wouldn't even call him/her an intelligent person if they can't understand slightly small things!

And if you're saying "Ignorant" then why should anyone even bother to such ignorant stuff???

Ignorance of all things is an evil neither terrible nor excessive, nor yet the greatest of all; but great cleverness and much learning, if they be accompanied by a bad training, are a much greater misfortune.... Plato.

Judging is not required, only loving is.

Humans define ignorance. Therfore ignorance is human. No man is smart, only ignorant by different standards.

The man who understands nothing understands all.

Ignorance by choice is stupidity

Some ignorance baffles the best of us. You would have to be super, super smart to understand some of the ignoramuses that manage to walk on two legs.
