Do you believe that those who never allow failure to stop them possess inherent qualities that keep them striving for success or is their drive to succeed a result of environment, upbringing or education?

have a strong relationship with someone else? Do they have to both be givers and by both being the same way learn to accept eachother's giving, or do you need a giver and a taker. I have my opinion, whats yours?

I'm writing an essay that discusses the roles of imagination and reason in the Arts and Mathematics. My thesis is that imagination and reason play a role in both subjects but that too much reason in art or too much creativity in math blurs the line between the two. Examples I've come up with are tessellations and fractals; I'm looking for some other examples where the line between art and math becomes blurred. Anything really will help. THanks!

It's the little things in life that makes the world a better place, and it's the little things that don't get the credit they deserve. What is ONE thing about YOU that makes the world a better place? Is it you doing your part for the enviroment by recycling, is it a smile you give to a stranger on the street or in the grocery store, a door held open, a cab passed up for a lady with an arm full of parcels, when saying have a good day and actually MEANING it....

Life is a serioues of randomness betweetn consecutive routines, when you leave your house you open the door and close it and go do random acts then come back to open your door and close it, here opening the door and closing it is a routine that envelops random acts, sleeping and waking up is a routine that carries your day's activity within it, birth and death is also a one time occuring routine that envelops your whole life, and so on, do you agree that conception of life as Randomness and Routine, do you find your whole life a series of routine acts and randomness?

Pragmatism is a pretty (very?) broad school. So criticism of it runs the risk of trying to cover too big a ground. I'm looking at Pragmatism and would be very interested in any references that point to a good old attack on it.

Anyone know of any?

I do NOT want to see statements that ONLY show how bad he is or how good he is; I want to know a bit more. I would like to know why would people vote for a person like him and elcect him as their leader? What drives them?
