What makes a man or woman is integrity. They have many similarities but not the same. The man is the provider, and the woman is the child bearer, and homemaker. Now many will agrue that point but it is our beginnings. Today there are many types of men and women, and the variety of beliefs is indifferent to our species in some way. But mankind is a product of his/her environment as well. The difficulties today is all the brainwashing, and the competition between men and women in business. There should not be that friction what so ever. But mankind is ever changing and challenging the true nature of things. Women as young girls usually play with dolls and like the feminine things although they have the instinct of sports activities. Boys like sling shots, and army men and battle games. This is the natural behavior of most. However we are being confused everyday about sex, and truthfully that is an instinct that is natural as well, but not something to base your life on. Women in the military today is a real eye opener, but not really there were fighting women in our frontier in America, that did not mean they liked it as a profession, but today who knows? There really isnt the American dream anymore, a husband a bunch of children and a good home? Men choose to be single and some are gay, and then we have the difference in whether a gay man is a man, by species yes, but that he is a natural man, maybe today, who knows? Read the Inadequate Male, and the Inadequate Female and you will know exactly what we are suppose to be. Happy New Year

Don't miss the point people. She's asking about what it is in your character that makes you a man or a woman. We were all born with sex organs before we knew what gender meant. But men didn't become men until we went through some sort of rights of passage on our own timetable. A man is strong, courageous, standing for those who are weak, being a good friend to other men, protecting and providing for family/relatives/kinfolk. A woman is a sensual creature that ponders how beautiful God is when she looks at her own beauty and the things her own body can do. A woman is nurturing, bringing color and life when she comes in contact with someone or something. A woman has to be loving and putting nothing including herself before the children in her life.

In what sense are you asking? As a man, I believe there should be a sense of honor and duty involved. You are not a man because you can make a baby. But if you can love care for and teach that baby to the best of your ability, to reach out and be the best he can, and if the boy you were can be proud of the man you are, then you have had some kind of meaning. To love totally and without exception 1 good woman, and to make a life together in a world like today's is no small feat.
I still believe in an old fashioned sense of honor and responsibility. As to a woman, hopefully, one of the ladies will pitch in here.

A clear sort of division of labour! Just as the hands donot do the work of the legs. To perpetuate for eternity , the continuity of this highest form of life the creator has divided the labour broadly and equiped them suitably. For all we know we could still rename them , He -man and she-man!

But,at the spiritual level there is ABSOLUTELY no difference at all. For those who donot understand this they are completely bogged down at the physical level only and more so with the sexual level. men conveniently forget that it was the woman who brought them out into the world in the first place and not another man!

Your question is interesting.. One way to answer would be women are feeling types, organizers, child bearing, where men think, strategies, and are visual types. Of course one could use the sex organs, along with how they look at sexuality. The features can be androgynous, or very feminine, or masculine. Something like that.

I think it is like a math/science equation that mother nature has created. Some societies of insects "know" when they are overpopulated and they become asexual. When their society needs to grow they become male and female so they can increase their numbers. Perhaps we are seeing more homosexuality these days because our society is telling us at an unconscious level/chemical level that we are overpopulated and we need to stop growing...........
