Faraday: "Being alone.....you could never truly experience the sense of loneliness until you have been truly alone and lonely yourself. But in a sense, it all depends on you. You have to feel lonely in order to be lonely. If, physically, you are all alone, but mentally, you feel content and happy and.... loved.... then in one sense you are not alone. "

Yes, and I would add to that, the feeling of aloneness, the feeling for non-content, is symptomatic for mental content producing questions containing ego as subject. Being in company with selfs sense for egos own content is a separation from reality in an empirical category, but possibly a contact with a rational category.

The Judgment is negative, the Will is positive.

Alone is the hardest thing we ever learn to overcome.

First you are thrown into a world where you know nothing and RELY on people. Then, hopefully, you learn to do things by yourself. Independence. After several years of learning they toss you out on your own to make your own way in life.

The hard part I think is realizing that we are all alone, in our own bubble, until we choose to reach out. It's hard being a one man army. Relying on your own energy to get things done.

It is one thing to know you will always be alone. It is something completely different to be comfortable with it.

Growth never happens in tandem. The observer is a solitary action. Thoughts can be shared but never experienced together. We are all alone even when in the company of many others, or just one.

I think being alone sometimes is good, because you will not always have someone there around you

Being alone means there is no one with you.

Philosophically, it means you are alone with just yourself and your thoughts even if there are people around you.

The realization that ultimately life is a solo journey and that you better like (or learn to like) the company you keep when you're all by yourself . . . after all, that's who you have to live with (no matter what) for the rest of your life.
