i hear there are the philosophy branches on science(mostly natural) and knowledge discovered and evolved by ancient philosophers that can enable people to derive and discover knowledge by merely having a basic understanding of something fully amatuer style, and derived knowledge can be very close to the original proven form by expert.
i hear the second branch of philosophy that see everything into entity(perhaps only time, space and matter) and their relationship, and very fast represent their existence, to very effectively express very complex problem correctly, completely and precisely,
is there really such studies, what are they named, could i,if yes,how can i find resource to learn such skill, or can they be learnt

I was at a wedding and a very godly woman told me about a reoccuring dream she would have.

In this dream there would be a curtain and when the curtian opened there was a bird cage in it with dead bones and dead vines all around this cage this woman went through a bitter horrible divorce.

Some years later God send her a man that would become her husband and she had this reoccuring dream again but this time instead of dead things there were baby birds singing in the cage and healthy vines growing around the cage and after this she never had any of these bad dreams again.

What is your interpetation of this dream?

We seem to have this obsession for "progess", fast progress. What is progress. Is war progess? Is democracy progress? What about iPods and PS3/Wii's? What's wrong with not having progess,

Hello, does anybody have religious prophecies in the Bible and Quran, that will threaten Humanity?
Examples like a big war, etc?
In addition, does the bible and Quran state when the world will end? IF so, can you tell me what.
Thanks for the help.

Invictus.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bloodgeonings of chance
My head is bloody but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate
I am the captain of my soul.

I read this on someone's My Space blog and I keep coming back to it, I don't know why:

"Snowflakes are different...
than people...
that's a good thing!"

Any ideas? How are snowflakes different than people? Besides the obvious. I have some ideas, but I wanted another point of view. Be creative =)
Thanks!
