When I was a virgin I knew I was missing something but I didn't know exactly what the experience was that I was missing-obviously b/c I had never experienced it. I had natural sexual urges and was attracted to the opposite sex but I didn't know it was possible or how to act on those urges until I was told how. I might have eventually naturally acted on those urges given the right situation without being told what to do but since I never had that chance II guess 'll never know.
Think about "cavemen" days when there was very little conversation and there really wasn't anyone to tell them they were or weren't virgins. Apparantly they were able to figure it out on their own.
So to answer your question- no, I do not think we consciously think to ourselves "I am a virgin" if the information is not provided to us. But I do think we have natural sexual urges and we will act on those urges whether we know the definition of a virgin or can be classified as one or not.

Does someone who has never eaten mangoes know that they miss eating mangos? No.
Honestly, I sometimes yearn for the simplicity of my virginal life prior to losing my virginity. Sex seems like an addiction sometimes in that it can lead to some very unhealthy behaviors. And there was a purity of love that transcended any sexual connotations prior to losing my virginity. Love was intense, and not because it would lead to sex: love was the end, not the means to an end. But once sex enters into the equation, so does a degree of selfishness about what one wants vs. what your partner wants, in my experience.
Or perhaps it's just the complexity of adult life that has made adult relationships so messed up & perhaps the sex & all the issues that go with it are just by-products of a general loss of innocence.
Just some things to chew on (figuratively speaking.)

Yes, they miss the worry every month about whether or not they are pregnant. They miss getting STD's and even AIDs. They miss getting an infection that will make them sterile. They miss having a bad reputation. They miss the embarrassment of disappointing their husband or wife on their wedding night.

My friend is a playa and gets pussy from all the hotest chicks all the time. I'm a virgin on the other hand. Sometimes he tells me he's going crazy cause he hasn't had sex in a while. I don't have a clue what that's like; but I'm guessing it's like Cocaine.

Probably not. But a virgin does know what they still have, and they do know what a harlot has missing.

Actually I am going to go and have two or three more drinks and then I'll come back and answer this question with the thought process it deserves. On second thought maybe I'll have four or five or maybe even six more drinks.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I do remember when I was 21, I knew this girl who said, "If I'd have known it was this good when I was 16, I wouldn't have waited until now." She said it, I didn't. Hope that helps.
