Maybe you can put this in a simpler form of words. My question is: Why do people judge other on the acts that they themselves secretly want to do but is too scared or embarrassed to express, thus they hide it by precutting the ones who is willing to do what the judger cannot.

Maybe I’m going about this the wrong way; if I am, please steer me right. With some thought, can you please tell me the reason why people judge others?

. She looks down upon the eager faces of the young Acolytes. "I speak to you today of the creature Man" she intones slowly. "though long gone, he yet still has a lesson to teach. Difficult as it may be to believe, Man once had a civilization rivaling, perhaps even surpassing our own!" The crown mumurs uneasily. 'Yes! It is true. But as we say, 'With power comes corruption', and as the power of Men grew they became haughty and arrogant, til they fancied themselves like unto the Gods!" Gasps of surprise echo through the group. "Yes! Men challenged the Heavens themselves and sought to reshape the Earth to his will. The Gods became angry at man's presumption, and plagued him with disease, with hunger, with war! They scattered his peoples and smashed his cities! And Man was brought low, til all that now remains are a few pitiful remnants, some still deadly with the evil emanations they call 'radiation', setting the stage for Our ascent. Indeed, Man has much to teach us.

Euthanasia. Meaning : Also called mercy killing. the act of putting to death painlessly or allowing to die, as by withholding extreme medical measures, a person or animal suffering from an incurable, esp. a painful, disease or condition.
[FROM DICTIONARY.COM]

If you had someone that you loved dearly (husband, wife, father, mother, children, etc.) who had a terminal illness for which there is no cure (absolutely no possibility of a cure or effective treatment within the time left) and was in excruciating pain that pain killers could not alleviate or reduce.

Would (and could) you assist in the suicide or kill mercifully yourself this loved one?

Would it be possible for you to kill your loved one to save them from the pain of living any longer?

Please explain your answers.
I thank you in advance.

Why can't everyone understand that we are all utterly dependant upon one another for survival? With this interdependant view one can really help others selflessly: by making life better for others you make life better for yourself.

Or is an unanswered question essentialy different than an answered question (the difference being beyond the fact that one has an answer and the other does not)?

We are basically living on thoughts. What we see suorrounded by us, what we call as reality is nothing but the thoughts of yesterday, which is the reality in today. DO you agree???

I'm a freshman in high school and it's been 5 months since school started and I still haven't made any friends. Everyday during lunch I go to an isolated place so I won't have to face the harshness of the other kids. The students at my high school are ALL stuck up, immature, stupid, care TOO much about fashion, and make lame comments. I've had people say, "Hey loner! How's your sad life! Haha." "Kevin's such a loser, he hangs out by himself." "You were talking to him?" "Don't talk to him, he's gay." and people who have walked up to me straight forward and insulted me. Whenever I need help like asking about homework and borrowing things I ask someone and they just say, "Do I know you?" (they do) and some just ignore me intentionally. Once during class while we were debating about a topic I just stated my opinion and one "cool" guy disagreed. Then 7 ignorant others just backed him up and insulted me for no reason. I'm popular for being a loser/loner, how ironic.

Everything even religions and all the power in this world today? Like the language we speak where we think we adapted it from. Proof of everything beyond reasonable doubt- because what proves everything is we never questioned anything the first time? the fact we still live the same way and prob always will is no one really cares to question life?
Well I asked myself what’s the meaning of life, and spent 5 hours on the net and dictionary- then English and the Greeks and I freaked out on I don't know what but somehow I thought I figured it out. I was convinced that the Catholics ruined our world and that they got away with it. Crazy right? I don't even know anything about the Catholic church? I really always figured it was nothing that big??

in point of epistemological footing the physical objects and the gods differ only in degree and not in kind. Both sorts of entities enter our conception only as cultural posits. The myth of physical objects is epistemologically superior to most in that it has proved more efficacious than other myths as a device for working a manageable structure into the flux of experience. I know it is okay to dislike intolerance. But is it intolerant of me to dislike the actual person choosing to be intolerant/practicing intolerance?

Should you really only dislike the intolerance itself? Are you a bigot to dislike the person too, since they choose to be intolerant?
