What is your IDEAL woman?

dont you think that if someone really wanted to change, that they could stop. they are smart enough to put their mind to it. for example, if someone was addicted to drugs, they could stop. its thier own brain saying that they need it. people have control over themselves, they just need to stop being lazy and blaming it on somthing else

In conversation, there are undisputed facts – “He is a male”, then there are opinionated or personal facts, “He is handsome”. Does a statement have to be accepted by more than one to make it a fact. If I truly believe something in my heart, but you do not, does it make it less of a fact to me?

i see polls on television where people answer to the most bizarre of questions, famous people are constantly asked about "strange" things but the most amazing thing is that all of them famous or not try to answer to everything, why is it so difficult for us to say:
"I dont have any opinion about..."
(if there is anyone who hasnt any opinion about something, what is this "something"?)

If you could have lots and lots of money, but had to spend most of your time earning it, would that be best? Or what if you made enough money to get along, but you didn't have to work that much, so you had a lot of time on your hands, would that be better?

Personally I'm into time. Since my non paying work takes up all my time, and I wish I had a lot more.

what are good things that led people to success?

i think it is possible to be "nobody" because if
Somebody (as a noun) -- A person of importance
Nobody (as a noun) -- A person of no importance or influence.
and
Importance (as an adjective) -- Strongly affecting the course of events or the nature of things; significant
Also
if every good has a bad and every bad has a good...
for every "sombody" there must be a nobody.
U thoughts r appreciated!

The nazis discovered many medical advances and procedures but killed prisoners to find it. So did the Japs and many other countries. Even the US let hundreds of blacks suffer from VD just to follow its progress. Should we use this information or not because of the horrific way it was found. Do we give approval of these torture methods by accepting and using the results, or do we give thanks to the men, women and children who died and use this info so their deaths won't be in vain?

Yesterday, on my way to cash my pension, I had a stroke of good fortune. There, upon the ground, was a brand new fifty pound note. As I bent to pick it up a shot rang out, and a man standing just behind me, with a briefcase, fell stone dead.

As the assailant ran away (realizing that I was a witness to the crime), I noticed the dead man's briefcase had fallen open to reveal what turned out to be three million pounds. Well, what was I to do?

It occurred to me that, if I were very rich myself, the damages I would receive, due to the trauma of witnessing such a horrifying event, would be vast. Then it struck me! I was rich! I had three million pounds. Well, I thought of how much tax payers money would be wasted if I took the matter to court, so I just took what was (surely) my legal dues and made my way to the post office. What a stroke of luck!

To think that no one really has a clue why we are here or even if we are here! Yes there are the numerous religions with their ideas and beliefs but really no one really knows.

So I dreamed of becoming a scientists. My target area was ecology. I was talked into taking a post-graduate course in social philosophy and was promised it would combine well with ecological issues... NOTHING OF THE KIND. Only the damn blah-blah business I despise philosophers for. Yeah, now I HATE philosophy. The professors won't let me say a word about my real studies, they wanr their f*****g classics. And the defence is hopefully this spring. I'm so disappointed and tired.
Was it worth all the efforts, all the time wasted on re-doing the dissertation over and over again? Now I keep all my friends from becoming a PhD, I tell them it's all bull***t. At least in philosophy. Shall I quit before it's too late? I don't want to become one of those cabinet rats doing nothing but compilation. I miss marine research, labs and boat trips... Shall I f*** it all and start all over again with - say - biology?
No MD's sorry. I've had enough.

explain urself...give me evidence...
but before that..please read the story below:

A man went to a barber shop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects, when they eventually touched on the subject of ALLAH.
The barber said, "I don't believe that ALLah exist."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that ALLAH doesn't exist. Tell me, If ALLAh exist, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned childrens? If ALLAH existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I couln't imagine a loving ALLAH who would allow all these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his Job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barber shop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.
The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber,
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And i just worked on you!"
"No!" The customer exclaimed. "Barber don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah.. But barbers do exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" Affirmed the customer."That's the point! ALLAH, too, does exist! That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."...
