the problem!? Is it is not better to have nothing, that after all we can agree on. To have everything is to discover really that what is, is what you wanted first day and to be wanted after all is more over what you got from everything you give yourself to...
Get me, and at that,
is it life gave you the run up or did you give life the run down?

It's worse to get what we want, lots of it, then discover later that there's too much of it taking up space and gathering dust and feel as if we have to get rid of alot of it to make things simple again and quit feeling like hogs

Depends on from which direction you are coming from.
Technically, when I were a wee lad the phrase "you never miss what you never had" was right. However society has become very greedy and everyone wants everything, even if they don't really want it.

One is an unknown, the other a known. Depends upon our personalities which we prefer. For myself, I'd prefer everything. I could always get rid of it if it wasn't what I wanted.

The best way to live is to have the most choices . In todays society this means money. Money sets you free. It is only the love of money which is the root of all evil

we always want things we don't have. When people receive all they ever wanted they freak out. Look at the celebrities.

It's not having what you want, It's wanting what you've got. That is the problem.

i think its the things we get and don't want. people need to be happy with what they have. its not bad to strive for more but at the same time we need to be content with what you have.
