I believe its possible not to be loved or noticed and be seen as a nobody. Yet I think everybody is a somebody..you just need to take the time to get to know them. Everybody wants to be acknowledged in some small way. People choose if they want to be a somebody or nobody in life, though sometimes they just get lucky. It takes hard work or risks..sometimes both though.
As far as the world and popularity is concerned, everybody starts as a nobody. Its only until they do something to get recongnized do they ever become somebody or known.
You should really watch the anime Naruto for a good understanding of this too.
PS: just because there is a relationship between good and bad, doesnt mean there is for something else. I think everyone feels like a nobody until they find their 'somebody' though. ;)

Based on the definitions, no. Everyone is of importance to someone, be it a mother, father, brother, sister, neighbor, or maybe someone that you don't even know thinks you are important. Everyone affects someone else's life in some way, and each of us change the course of events of things in ways we do not even know. By simply going to the grocery store you change the course of events which would have occured had you not been there. Good question!

From one perspective, we are nobody. It's our ego that makes us somebody. Aren't we just like a grain of sand on a beach? We come into this world and one day we go. But it's not that simple, is it? Our so-called civilisation has redefined our meaning of existence. We have become more artificial or should I say we are made to become one? That's the price you pay for improvement. We lose originality and lose ourselves. We become somebody from nobody.
So being nobody is simply going back to our roots. So we basically have to reverse-engineer the process in our minds to find who we actually are. Maybe meditative contemplation is the way to go.

this would be soully based on opion... everyone has a purpose in life... even though it may feel like you may be a nobody there is someone out there who notices just the little things you and finds you a somebody... so therefore how could there really be any nobodies... just because you dont notice the person or people noticing you doesn't mean your not being notice....

nobody is a nobody.
and everybody is a somebody.
i believe in the theory of contamination,
in which when two or more people meet,
they will influence , change or make an impression on each other.
the amount of influence or change depends on the impression made.
there is no proof needed as this is an observation from life.
God bless,
gabe

No, only God ( in way that Leibniz sees Him ) is Nobody. We all have to be somebody, for You can`t define nobody as a person of no importance, but as a person of no existence. So, the meaning of "nobody" in slang would be-one that is so insignificant, that has no impact on things. Has no impact on things, therefore, does not exist. You can`t match it with Yin&Yan philosophy...

I'm nobody/ who are you/ are you nobody too?/ then there's a pair of us/ don't tell/ they'd banish us you know --- How dreary to be somebody/ how dreadful, like a frog/ to croak your name the livelong day/ to an admiring bog
