miss mississippi is the new miss usa...not cute enough to win miss world or universe. which i never understood...how miss world and miss universe is ANY different?
they go out of this world to choose other creatures to make n' choose a miss universe???

good question, it does not make any sense to have a miss world and a miss universe at the same time. (oh and dont forget miss earth contests, LOL)
but we all know that this is just because of money. its a very big business and i dont know which one was earlier (miss world or miss universe), but i bet that somebody wanted to make the same amount of money and made the same business using a different name.
it is interesting that in my country - Hungary - these 2 beauty contests are in one hand, both of them belong to the same company.. funny.

miss world is of the world and miss unverse is of the whole universe and with miss universe the ladies are represetatives of their country eg Miss South Africa
