We cannot see the future, we cannot change the past, we can only live in the now with an eye towards gaining enough power in the future to wreak revenge on everyone who ever screwed us in the past.

This is a hypothetical question. You are on the board of a small hospital. They have 2 dialisis machines. 5 people need dialasis. The people are in random order-
-a 34 year old married woman, 2 elementry children, stays at home, active member of the community
-a 16 year old boy, music major, full ride scholarship to college
- a 41 year old male, married, Criminal justice lawyer who donates to hospital
- 36 year old woman, married, no children, CEO of firm.
- 39 year old single woman, teenaged children, housekeeper at hotel, volunteers at soup kitchen weekly.
As the board you have to decide who to save first, second, so on. Who would you save and in what order?

Last time, I was wondering at a garden looking myself and watching my previous action. I got a wonderful insight knowing myself, my actions and its result.

Similarly, I went to Vippasyana(Meditation) camp where I got exposed to different aspects of life and came to know human feeling, its cause and a wonderful fact of human nature.

I want to share an Exercise which I tried with myself.

1.Find a space around a garden or park where you can see yourself without distraction.

2.Find a spot where you can sit down and watch yourself.

3.Now, walk some steps watch yourself. Every steps you take, breath, sensation on skins and more as you can.

4.Go back and sit down where you sit a moment ago and watch yourself doing action.

5.Remember every action you have done and sensation you felt at that moment while you are sitting.

6.Do not crave for good feeling and feel bad for pain or sensation you feel. Let it go and just watch it as an observer. Do not accuse anybody, environment or yourself

The self is never subject to death in anyone's body, O Bharata, therefore, you should not grieve for any creature.

That which exists everywhere in all the bodies and cannot be destroyed, that is the conscious Self who dwells in everyone. By theire very nature all material things come to birth and die. Then why should you grieve over it? O Arjuna, I do not know why you cannot understand such a simple thing. This sorrow of yours is unseemly in many ways.

I'm not talking about staying with an abusive lover. Somebody you can't get along with or see eye to eye with, but you are inexplicably drawn to them. Maybe sexually, but not necessarily. You just feel that there is a reason you are supposed to be communicating with each other.

If so, how do you explain it? Past-life thing? "Chemistry"? A spiritual lesson to be learned?

Do you think it's important to try to find a way to keep communicating with this person, or do you think it should be let go if it's not feasible?
