why would God allow this suffering to happen to a good person? Given that God knowingly and intentionally gave Satan permission to inflict pain of Job, is God morally responsible for this, why do you think God allows this suffering of a good person.

Once Descartes got finished denying everything, the one constant he found was that he was thinking. Yet, a Buddhist would tell you that our thoughts are all over the place, and are the farthest thing from contant. Rather, the constellation of thoughts we take to be an "I" is but an illusion of a separate self. Isn't the breath, i.e. the life force of the body, far more grounded and constant in terms of a persons being and becoming in the world?

Suppose that a new “miracle pill” is developed that will allow a person to function with only one hour of sleep per night. However, because a night’s sleep is so short, a person who takes the pill will never dream again. Knowing what you do about the functions of sleep and dreaming, what would be some advantages and drawbacks of such a pill from a personal standpoint? Would you take such a pill?

are poor and no one lives on the streets. In Canada, there aren't homeless people. Think about it-this society, this culture, this life-that people have to have money in order to have a safe place to lay their heads at night. So many families are not close and not connected as units. If you think about it, do you see how twisted it is? What are you compassionate thoughts on this?

Here's my argument for no:
P1: If you want to be loved, you first have to love.
P2: Love is selfless; i.e. you can only love without wanting anything in return.
P3: I want to be loved.
By P1 and P2, if I want to be loved, I can't love, because I can only love selflessly. Add in P3, I want to be loved, but I can't love, so I can't be loved either. Thus, if everyone who wants love cannot love or be loved, love is not possible.
But please tell me my premises or logic is wrong, because I don't like being so pessimistic.

Do you worry about what's going to happen when you get here?

I feel like the afterlife is going to happen to me, and it is nothing I can do about it, like it is meant to be?

And the thing is that I don't want to make a mistake that would lead me to see the afterlife. I just sometime have the urge.

Do you have a sudden urge to see the afterlife?

I am just so scared of making that mistake, what is the afterlife?

Are you scared that you would make a mistake that would send you to the afterlife?

I am just worry about death is going to come to me at a young age such as 21
