Poverty. Heres how: Anybody that wants to take the natural resources from the poorest countries (oil, minerals lumber, fisheries, etc.) should pay back by building schools in those areas and putting huge sums in interest bearing investment accounts for scholarships to the derserving (by GPA) With education comes the ability to better oneself and those that go away to college or university from the funding must return and help develop their country for at least 4 years (approximately 1 year for every year in college/university. There is no way people in Alaska should be suffering from cold when the oil is being sucked right from under them.Or children in oil rich Nigeria starving and no school. Or children on the streets in a country like Brazil that exports everything from my list above and beef and wine as well. it is crimnal to see the way these governments sell the resources right from under their own people. (sorry for the rant but you feel me. Dont you?)

Although there are many issues, the one that I would pick would be the battle between men and women. Men need to realize that women can do everything men do, if not better, and women need to realize that we cannot depend on men for everything. I think that would help many issues including crime, education, employment, and the governing of our planet. I think this could be fixed if, in an ideal and magical world, men could live as women and women could live as men for 1 month. Living in someone elses shoes teaches things no one can speak.

Hate. To end hate would be the resoltion to so much crime and pain in the world, virtually ridding the world of the things that tear us as a human race apart. No war, no gangs, no violence, no prejudice. It wouldn't fix the world entirely but it's one hell of a start.

I'd feed the hungry... and that's easier said than done. The efforts being now how certainly improved and more people are being fed, but corruption by governments continues to keep food from the hungry. I guess you fix it by overturning corrupt governments... or perhaps just going around them to feed the people directly. See if they DARE kill a volunteer trying to help humanity... that government should be erased.

Ignorance- and turn it into tolerance. Im one big tough dude, but it never seazes to piss me off at how ignorant countries are toward each other because of our distance. I dont mean Iraq, I mean every country in the world. People are worse than opposing species of dogs, selfish and ignorant. Religious fanatics are the worst, the more religious a group is, the more dangerous they are when you dont agree with them. this isnt all people of course, just a general attitude I'd love to see change, but it just seems to get worse...

I would get rid of irrational fear.
Fear is the root of all evil. We fear, thus we hate and so we harm. If no man feared another they could grow instead to love one another. With irrational fear gone there would be no hate, no violence.
It would require something astounding to rid the world of irrational fear - I guess I'd fix it by simply waking up every mind to the existence of irrational fear and showing them it is unnecessary for living.

I'd mind control all government leaders visible and invisible so they can't lie. We'd have a cure for cancer available right now! Because they'd have to tell us where they hid instructions for the serum.
Oh! by invisible I mean leaders who rule from the shadows....the hidden hands..

I would solve world hunger by encouraging the entire planet to cultivate fungi for food.
Then I'd go out for a steak.
