It is due to training that when one sleeps, one switches off the mind button too. Lack of coordination leads to the body resting but the mind still rattling at full speed. Hence in many cases people say that even after a sleep of 8 hours, they are not feeling fresh.

Nobody really knows for sure what causes people to talk in their sleep. Some people carry on entire conversations, while others just moan and make other sounds. If sleep talking is bothersome or disrupting the sleep of others, you can keep these things in mind:
1. Make sure the sleep talker gets plenty of sleep every night - someone who is sleep deprived is more likely to sleep talk.
2. Try to reduce stress and anxiety levels.
3. Keep to a regular schedule of going to bed and getting up at the same time.
4. Don't eat a heavy meal right before bedtime.
For most people, dreams are purely a "mental" activity: they occur in the mind while the body is at rest. But people who suffer from REM behavior disorder (RBD) act out their dreams. They physically move limbs or even get up and engage in activities associated with waking. Some talk, shout, scream, hit, punch, or fly out of bed while sleeping! RBD is usually noticed when it causes danger to the sleeping person, their bed partner, or others they encounter. Sometimes ill effects such as injury to self or bed partner sustained while asleep trigger a diagnosis of RBD. The good news is that RBD can usually be treated successfully.

it is a given that the mind has three divisions of psyche... the id (the unconscious part), the ego (in which task is to find a balance between primitive drives, morals, and reality while satisfying the id), and the super-ego (symbolic internalization of the father figure and cultural regulations).... in psychological sense. for philosophy's part, it's only two, the sub-conscious state and the conscious state.
consider, therefore, when one is at rest... we are asleep. the unconscious (the id) or the sub-conscious state is the major player at work. in this sense, the mind tends to explore things hidden within your mind... things we fear to express, things which we want to express out loud, things we want to do but due to inferiority, we let it pass by. subconciously, our mind dictates us to perform it while asleep and the tendency is for us to voice it out... thus, in the state we're in (asleep, of course), our bodily mechanism still is in play and it comes out as naturally as if we're in the conscious state (operates, that is). and so we talk while we're asleep....
