Last time, I was wondering at a garden looking myself and watching my previous action. I got a wonderful insight knowing myself, my actions and its result.

Similarly, I went to Vippasyana(Meditation) camp where I got exposed to different aspects of life and came to know human feeling, its cause and a wonderful fact of human nature.

I want to share an Exercise which I tried with myself.

1.Find a space around a garden or park where you can see yourself without distraction.

2.Find a spot where you can sit down and watch yourself.

3.Now, walk some steps watch yourself. Every steps you take, breath, sensation on skins and more as you can.

4.Go back and sit down where you sit a moment ago and watch yourself doing action.

5.Remember every action you have done and sensation you felt at that moment while you are sitting.

6.Do not crave for good feeling and feel bad for pain or sensation you feel. Let it go and just watch it as an observer. Do not accuse anybody, environment or yourself

It is a time-tested, very effective , sustaining and capability-enhancing form of meditation to deepen the perception levels of an individual, focusing on self-awareness as a witness, to ultimately attempt to go beyond the level of sense organs !
Purely an experiential process, no explanation can appeal to a logical mind !

Hello, it's great you have found a way to tune into yourself and to know yourself-

Many who dwell on the past is because they haven't let go of the past. Something is bothering them either because of self denial, or they haven't accepted something as history therefore drag it along with them. They may fear something from the past or have lack of confidence to achieve something for the future (no belief in themselves)

If somebody is dwelling on the past then they should be seeking the inner child within them and that child within them will often stir during sleep to try and help the person over the issues that bother themw hile awake, only because the child within you wants the best for you, but you have to have the courage to deal with the issues that more often than not gets buried and undealt with.

The inner child free is as free as a bird, the past follows and a clear path is a head of you-get to know yourself and the part of you that gets forgotten in the chaos of life to find peace within, to shine through you

how can anyone claim to believe what you asked was "deep" when your sentence structure is ridiculous. i have no clue as to what you are asking or suggesting. furthermore what is this exercise (if i understood the steps) suppose to do for me? besides make a total @ss of myself in a park that is.... and sorry but i'm one of those human beings who think we are on this earth to help others, not just ourselves. if i was to live for myself and only take care of myself and sit around in parks "looking" at myself (God forbid) then i believe wholeheartedly i'd be the ONLY one on this planet. but because i share this planet with a "gazillion" people then i am thinking i'm not on this globe JUST for me. so why dont we stop wasting time on getting to know out innards, and watching our steps and looking at us sit at parks, breathing and crap. why dont we get up off the grass and do something for SOMEONE ELSE!! geesh. there's NOTHING deep about selfish living.

OK, just in my thoughts? Then why the garden?

I think I can do my retrospection right here.

Perhaps I must try exactly as you suggest before I conclude.

in case you probably did no longer have emotions like that additionally, then i could say it quite is extraordinary.
